Egyetemi tanulmányait a Szegedi Tudományegyetem Természettudományi karán kezdte 2000-ben vegyész szakon. 2005-ben diplomázott, majd doktori tanulmányait az angliai Cambridge University Kémia Intézetében, Prof. David Wales kutatócsoportjában végezte 2005-2009 között.
Fiatal kutatóként, 2010-2014 közt ösztöndíjas volt Prof. Viskolcz Béla kutató csoportjában a Szegedi Tudományegyetemen. (2010 –2011: Zoltán Magyary Postdoctoral Research Fellow, 2011 – 2013: Postdoctoral Research Fellow SZTE, 2013 – 2014: John von Neumann Young Research Fellow). 2015 óta a Pro-Vitam kutatócsoportjának alapítója és vezetője. 2018 óta PhD témavezető a Pécsi Tudományegyetem Kémiai Doktori Iskolájában.
