Hysterosalpingography – procedure for evaluating the uterine cavity and fallopian tubes

Hysterosalpingography (HSG) is a radiological investigation used to evaluate, diagnose and treat certain problems of the uterus and fallopian tubes being an important part of infertility management. The main purpose of this procedure is to evaluate patients with a history of infertility.

Also, with the help of hystersonography, certain congenital uterine anomalies, uterine fibroids, endometrial polyps, uterine tumors can be identified. The indication for the hysterosalpingography procedure is made by the gynecologist following the consultation of a set of analyses as well as other additional investigations if necessary. The procedure is performed in the department of radiology of Promedical Center and is carried out by Dr. Lészai Lehel, specialist in obstetrics and gynecology.

The price of the procedure is 1200 lei.
