Even if you have no health problems, it is important to have annual screening tests, especially after the age of 35. Why? In our busy world, we often forget about our own health, although we all want to stay healthy and active as we age. Our health should not only be important when problems arise! In our view, the quality and accessibility of health services is essential for improving the quality of life. With this in mind, we have created our unique health maintenance packages that are not only limited to performing tests and screening tests, but also include interpretation of results, analysis of laboratory trends and necessary medical consultations.

What kind of investigations does the Pro-Health analysis package include and what kind of diseases does it detect?

• functioning of the hematopoietic system | anemia, inflammation, leukemia
• liver diseases | liver diseases caused by toxins or inflammation, fatty liver
• renal function | kidney failure, kidney stones
• metabolism of carbohydrates, proteins and fats | diabetes, abnormal levels of fats and cholesterol in the blood

What else does Pro-Health+ offer?

In the case of Pro-Health+, the package is completed with ultrasound examinations [abdominal for men, abdominal and breast for women]. Ultrasound is the most effective method for diagnosing diseases, being also painless and non-invasive. The ultrasound examination allows obtaining detailed information about the following:

• the state of the organs in the abdominal cavity and small pelvis
• possible abnormalities of the liver, pancreas, gall bladder, spleen, urinary tract, urinary bladder, kidneys, uterus, ovaries
• the condition of the large blood vessels in the abdominal cavity and the condition of the lymph nodes
• the condition of the breasts (in the case of women) considering the risks related to breast cancer

Who are these services for?

The analysis package is recommended for people over 35 years old, without symptoms, in order to prevent diseases. The analyzes provide an overview of the state of health and the fundamental vital functions of the body.

Results evaluation included!

The interpretation of the results is carried out in two stages.

(1) For both packages [Pro-Health, Pro-Health+], we provide a written, clear interpretation developed by our laboratory/specialist doctors according to the results. If necessary, this interpretation may include suggestions for further testing. In addition, we provide you with easy-to-understand graphs that show the evolution of laboratory analysis values (such as blood sugar level, etc. ) compared to previous years and normal limits. (2) Also, if the patient does not already have a doctor, he will have the opportunity to consult personally with the laboratory or specialist doctors of the Pro Vitam clinic. Our doctors will help interpret the results and, if indicated, provide guidance on performing other recommended examinations. The cost of the package includes the written interpretation and, if necessary, the personal consultation. An appointment is required for the latter.

Upon request, blood collection can be performed at the client’s home, including on Saturdays.

How to prepare for tests?

12 hours before the blood collection and 3-6 hours before the abdominal ultrasound, no food is consumed. Drinking plain water is recommended. The patient must have a full bladder when presenting for the ultrasound, so urinating before the examination is not recommended.
