Dr. Kinga Rákosi, assistant professor, research chemist, began her studies in 2000 at Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca, Faculty of Biochemical Engineering, and completed her doctoral studies at the Faculty of Sciences and Informatics, School PhD in Chemistry, University of Szeged, Hungary, between 2005 and 2011. Currently, he is an adjunct professor at the Sapientia University of Transylvania in Sfântu Gheorghe and Târgu Mureș.
As a research chemist, he is a member of the Pro-Vitam research group since 2018.
Main research activities:
- The development of integrated diagnostic methods for the rapid detection of liver diseases
- Development of Raman methods for quantification of glycosylated albumin in diabetes screening
- Development of a multiplex method for rapid testing of hepatitis viruses
- Development of electrochemical immunosensors for the detection of EGFR (epidermal growth factor receptor) and TSH (thyroid-stimulating hormone receptor) biomarkers in human serum
