He started his university studies at the Faculty of Science of the University of Szeged in 2000. He graduated in 2005 and completed his PhD studies at the Institute of Chemistry, University of Cambridge, England, in the research group of Professor David Wales between 2005 -2009. As a young researcher, he was a postdoctoral researcher in the group of Professor Béla Viskolcz at the University of Szeged between 2010 and 2014 (2010-2011: Zoltán Magyary Zoltán Postdoctoral Research Fellowship, 2013-2014: János Neumann Young Researcher Research Fellowship).

Since 2015 he is the head of the Pro-Vitam research group. Since 2018, he is PhD supervisor at the Doctoral School of Chemistry, University of Pécs.
From 2020 to 2022, as head of the Molecular Biology Department of the Pro-Vitam laboratory, he was responsible for the processing and PCR analysis of the COVID-19 samples. During the pandemic, his professional activity was widely publicized due to his public posts on Facebook. The development of the ELISA test for anti-SARS-CoV-2 antibodies during the pandemic and the first detection of the Indian variant (Delta) of SARS-CoV-2 in Romania also reflect his professional dedication.

Its mission is to maintain a research institute dedicated to cutting-edge research in the field of computational nanotechnology and nanomedicine.
