Páll Orsolya
biologist, PhD student in chemistry
Orsolya Páll, biologist, started her higher studies at the Faculty of Biology and Geology of Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca in 2009, majoring in Biology, and then at the Faculty of Sciences and Informatics of the University of Szeged in 2015, specializing in molecular biology, immunology, microbiology. Between 2015 and 2020, he acquired his professional knowledge as a research engineer at the University of Montpellier, Bioengineering and Nanosciences Laboratory, France. He is currently a chemistry student at the Doctoral School of Chemistry of the University of Pécs.
Since 2021, he is a member of the Pro-Vitam research group in Sfântu Gheorghe, where he investigates the dynamics of viral infectious diseases using clinical chemistry and next-gen sequencing methods. Orsolya Páll was actively involved in the processing and analysis of PCR and sequencing of the COVID-19 samples received in our laboratory during the pandemic. In addition to her research activities, she is also involved in routine clinical investigations in the field of microbiology.
His main research activities include:
Investigating the dynamics of viral infectious diseases using clinical chemistry and next-gen sequencing methods.
