Indications of Digital Radiography
Radiography is a non-invasive, rapid method of diagnosing the organs of the human body by means of X-rays.
The essential advantage of digital radiography is the significant reduction of the radiation level compared to traditional radiography.
Digital radiography is performed only on the recommendation of the specialist doctor, who suspects the following:
- lung injuries – pneumonia, tuberculosis, pulmonary edema;
- pleural pathology – pleurisy, pneumothorax;
- mediastinal adenopathies;
- pathologies of the chest wall;
- bone fractures in the acute or chronic phase;
- degenerative processes of the spine;
- disorders of the uro-genital system – trauma to the urinary system, excretion disorders.
